Positioning the motor in the bottom bracket area is optimal for giving the rider better usage of gears and a more balanced ride quality when navigating traffic or cornering at speed.

The elegant frame-integrated battery pack is a significantly upgraded 36 volt, 11.6Ah unit (417.6Wh) that will help you cruise up to an impressive 80 kilometres of pedal-assisted riding on a single charge. Just choose your power level on the handlebar mounted LCD display unit and go.

Electric bikes use a battery powered motor to give you pedal-assistance up to 25km/hr (limited by Australian regulations) to help you ride further, with less effort so you can get there faster and in better shape. What you do get with a better motor though is ride quality - and the new Ananda M81 is unbeatable in this price range.

A fast bike needs good stopping power, and the Blacktop 2.0 is fitted with Nutt hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulics deliver more power with less lever force than other systems, which gives better modulation and control in all riding conditions.

The Blacktop 2.0 is available in horizontal top-tube or a step-through frame design for riders who would rather wear casual clothing, aren’t as flexible or like being able to easily stand with both feet at the traffic lights.
